Hi, I'm Hardeep Ajmani, a social worker and psychotherapist who has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years; I have firsthand seen the positive impact that mental health care can have on people's lives.
I also know that therapy is not accessible for many; and the stigma can be way too high - especially in the South Asian Community.
Balanced Self Academy hopes to bridge that gap through developing a collective of self-paced mini courses with the South Asian cultural nuances in mind.
It's a different type of mental health care; not therapy; but just as important.
